About Our Organization

A Community that says No to Data Centers

No Data Center Citrus (NDCC) is a grassroots citizens’ organization dedicated to protecting Citrus County’s natural resources, rural character, and quality of life from the effects of needless impacts of inappropriate industrial development, including hyperscale data centers.

NDCC works to ensure that growth in Citrus County — when it happens — is responsible, sustainable, and shaped by the will of the people who live here, not by outside developers. We advocate for strong land development codes, transparent government, and elected officials who are honest stewards of the public trust.

What began as a single campaign to stop an unwanted data center rezoning has grown into an ongoing commitment: monitoring land use and zoning decisions across the county, informing residents, and giving citizens a formidable voice in the decisions that shape their community’s future.

Who We Are

Our membership includes long-time Citrus County residents, rural property owners, and community members who share a commitment to preserve our natural environment. We are not affiliated with any political party or special interest.

What We Do

We attend public hearings, file formal comments, publish research, and help residents voice their opposition to hyper-scale Data Centers and over-development.

What We Stand For

Protecting our Nature Coast environment, and the long-term character and quality of life in Citrus County.

No Data Center in Citrus County

Citrus County’s future should be shaped by its residents — not billionaires, massive corporations, and high-powered lawyers. Join us in opposing any Data Center development. Let’s preserve our Citrus County for people who live here, raise families, and care deeply about what makes this place special.
